We install and look after your dental office management and billing software, so the schedule and the billing keep moving.

Built for dentistry
Why dental IT services need dental experience
In a dental office, every system leans on the others. The front desk, the operatories and the server share one network, so a problem in one place soon reaches the chair.

Started inside a dental practice
My Dental IT was hatched right in the middle of a working dental practice. Dental offices are where we started and what we know.
Founders with 10+ years in dental IT
Our founding members bring over 10 years of hands-on experience maintaining the systems that keep dental practices running.
Dental hardware and software, first hand
We know the hardware and software made for the dental field from direct experience, so you don’t have to explain how a dental office works.

A signed HIPAA business associate agreement with every practice
My Dental IT signs a formal HIPAA business associate agreement with every customer to protect patient confidentiality. See what our signed BAA means for your practice.
Under the HIPAA rules, an IT company that creates, receives, maintains or transmits protected health information on a practice’s behalf is generally a business associate, and the practice needs a written business associate agreement with it (45 CFR 160.103, 164.502(e) and 164.504(e)). Questions
Questions about our dental IT services
Which IT services does My Dental IT provide for dental offices?
We provide network security, data backup and recovery, dental software support, computers and servers, server monitoring, malware protection, and internet, phone and remote access. Together they cover your network, your hardware, your practice management and billing software, and the lines that connect your office. For other common questions, see our dental IT FAQ.
How do your services help protect patient information?
Several services work together. A securely configured network helps keep intruders and unauthorized users out, malware and virus protection keeps digitally stored patient information safe, and backup systems mean a failed computer does not take your records with it. On top of that, we sign a formal HIPAA business associate agreement with every customer.
Can you help us prepare for power failures and electrical surges?
Yes. Disaster prevention and recovery for power failures and electrical surges is part of our data backup and recovery service. A sudden outage can corrupt open files and a surge can damage hardware, so planning ahead matters. Our guide to power outage and surge protection covers the general basics, from surge protectors to battery backup.
What should we do when something stops working?
Call, email or message us from our contact page and describe what is happening. If we ask you to, you can open a session from our remote support page, which lets us see the problem on your screen and work through it with you. Please leave patient information out of any message.
